Leon Shlossberg
Leon has a B.A. in Piano and History of Music which he received from the university of Minsk Belarus. He has 20 years experience teaching, and prepares students for all levels of the Royal School of Music exams in theory and practical. Leon enjoys teaching all ages and likes to incorporate music history into his piano lessons to help students fully appreciate not only the pieces they are playing but the composer who wrote them. He comes from a musical family and to this day continues his family record collection begun in the early 1900s of the worlds best tenors. In addition to his musical expertise Leon also has a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and served as the Regional Coordinator in science and technology (diplomatic level) for Central and Eastern European countries and National Coordinator for Belarus at the United Nations from 1992 to 1996. Leon also has a master level in chess.
