Matt Vicari

Matt has a bachelor's of Music in Performance degree with a focus on Contemporary Guitar Styles from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California. While in Los Angeles, he recorded / performed with LA based band Franklin Manor and did session work for a small studio. Since graduating and returning to NJ, Matt has been teaching throughout the area and composing/arranging for the Caldwell College Jazz Band. Matt specializes in Jazz, Rock, Blues/R&B, Funk and Latin performance styles as well as traditional and contemporary theory practices, sight reading, and advanced ear training. Matt teaches a variety of instruments including: guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin and ukulele.
