Tyler Collins
Tyler Collins is a professional singer and songwriter with twenty years of experience in the recording and entertainment industry. Tyler majored in musical theater and child psychology at the University of Maryland and Forham University. Tyler then decided to concentrate on her career full time.
Tyler has written her own albums, “Girls Nite Out” and “Tyler” on RCA Records. The first single she wrote, “What Cha Gonna Do?” went top ten on the acclaimed Billboards R&B charts. In addition she has written for Celine Dion, Shanice Wilson, and Jeffrey Osborne just to name a few. Tyler has also recorded with Stevie Wonder, Britney Spears, India Arie and Vanessa Williams, among others.
Tyler has worked with and recorded for Disney, singing the top twenty single “Never Alone, Eeyore’s Lullaby.” This single helped earn the critically acclaimed album “Take My Hand” gold status and a Grammy nomination. Tyler also recorded the top twenty Billboard hit song “Thanks To You” the title track for the motion picture Andre.
Tyler has earned a glowing reputation as an effective and nurturing vocal and performance coach for children. She has taught for the enrichment programs in the public school system of Los Angeles, California. She also provided her expertise for Dance Dimensions “Act, Sing, Dance” summer workshops and various performing arts schools such as “Rage Entertainment” and “Ciara’s Dance.” Tyler continues to find new and exciting ways to teach and bring the joy of singing and performing to the lives of children.
